Mock Tests
As you become more experienced you can request a mock practical test. This can be an invaluable exprience as preparation for the real thing. It is usually carried out by the driving instructor.
The cost is the same as an ordinary driving lesson.

Home, work or school providing it is within the area of map shown and does not prevent arrival to next lesson at correct scheduled time.

Theory Test
For most people, before you can apply for a driving test, a theory test conducted by the DSA has to be taken. To study for this, there are a number of books available from the DSA, Stationary Office and various High street stores.
You will need to do most of the studying yourself, although your driving instructor will be willing to help you with any points that need clarifying.

Motorway Driving

Even though you have passed your driving test, the thought of driving on a motorway can be quite daunting. A driving course, which is a minimum of two hours is offered to anyone who would like further tuition in this important area.

You will be given opportunities to improve your skills by learning the need for positive driving at higher speeds and accurate anticipation of situations. You will also be given tuition to enable you to change lanes safely and leave and join the motorway.

Refresher Courses

If you haven't driven for years or don't feel confident on certain aspects of driving or just want to be brought up to date with driving skills now being taught then book some time driving with Harvey's School of Motoring.
